Alhaji Ibraheem Boladale Mosque in Oshodi, Lagos, honours the memory of Alhaji Ibraheem Boladale, a figure whose contributions to the local Muslim community earned him the respect of his neighbours and the distinction of having a mosque bear his name. The title Alhaji, widely used across Nigeria and West Africa, denotes a Muslim man who has performed the hajj pilgrimage to Makkah, and carries connotations of religious seriousness and social respectability.
