Grand Mosque Alzhraʾ

Grand Mosque Alzhraʾ, located in Baghdad, carries a name honouring Fatimah az-Zahra, the beloved daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace), wife of Ali ibn Abi Talib, and mother of the Prophet's grandsons al-Hasan and al-Husayn. Az-Zahra, "the Radiant One", is revered across the Muslim world for her piety, patience and closeness to the Prophet, and she is counted among the greatest women in Islamic history.
