The Islamské centrum Praha in Prague's Staré Město sits in one of the most historically dense corners of central Europe, serving a small but growing Muslim community in a city and country with a distinct religious landscape. Jumu'ah is held each week, with khutbahs typically delivered in Arabic and often summarised in Czech or English for the mixed congregation. Activities include Arabic classes, Qur'an instruction for children, adult Islamic studies, and occasional public lectures intended to explain Islam to interested Czech neighbours. During Ramadan the centre hosts nightly Taraweeh and modest community iftars; Eid prayers typically move to a larger rented hall to accommodate the combined congregation from across Prague. For Muslim travellers to the Czech capital — visiting the Old Town, the Charles Bridge, the Jewish Quarter — the centre offers a reliable and welcoming place to pray, and a point of contact for any question about Muslim life in a country where that life is being slowly and patiently built. The staff are accustomed to visitors and happy to welcome them in any of several working languages.
